I dont think Parker will be with the wilson legion program this year. He has been a good one over the years. Hope he will come back one day.

Britt, congrats on getting the Shelby DH lined up,,,,,,,, and you will most detinitely love playing in front of the Shelby crowd, they are VERY PASSIONATE about their legion baseball. Certain legion crowds (and programs) are just different because the fans just get around their teams so much. It will be a TREMENDOUS experience for your players to play in those atmospheres, it will only make them better, and I wish you the very best.

This much I know,,,,,,,,, YOU WILL LOVE IT. Win or lose, enjoy your time there, because Shelby is a baseball town, plain and simple. Oh and don't forget to read about the game the next day on the www.shelbystar.com, great local coverage of their team and games.

Britt, you are absolutely correct. Wilson will be pretty good this summer. Everybody that can play is playing. I'm looking forward to it. I haven't heard about the roster for Rocky Mount, but I know your team will be good also. Too many good players in Nash County. Some good battles are ahead for Nash & Wilson. As stated above, Parker Davis will not be helping out this year for Post 13. He's been doing it a long time. He will be missed. His son, Jacob, plays for ECU, & I'm hearing he'll be on the Wilson Tobs roster this summer. Parker maybe wants to be a spectator this summer. He certainly deserves it!

Thanks again guys. We have now added another game out West. We are playing Thomasville/Davidson Saturday night. We are going to make a weekend out of it. Going to be expensive but we want to see the best. Can't wait for this experience.
