    Who has started playoffs?? We have three more conference games and one non-conf. game. Our playoffs start July 12th I believe.

    I've been trying to find some scores from Area 4. Heres what I have:

    Caldwell over Charlotte 6-0
    Gastonia over Hickory 8-0
    Shelby over Cherryville 1-0 in 10

    Henderson County 11 (8 innings)

    Henderson County's Chris White (UNCA) went all 8 giving up 1 earned and just a few scattered hits. Game 2 tomorrow night in Lake Norman.

    I was at the Shelby/Cherryville game and it was a classic. Josh Izacovic for Shelby took a home run away from a Cherryville player as he went over the fence to get it. That was huge as the game stayed scoreless into the 10th inning. Shelby then loaded the bases in the 10th and Josh hit a single down the 3rd base line to drive in the winning run.
