    Roxboro Post 138 at Burlington/Graham tonight 7:00. Both teams still have players in the High School play-offs(Person and Southern Alamance). Will be nice to see the other players in game situations.

    S. Rowan 13 Mooresville 9

    After a 30 minute rain delay something took place at Mooresville HS baseball stadium. Some said it was baseball, some had other descriptions of what took place. But at 11pm it was all over and SR had scored 13 unanswered runs in the first 4 innings and held off a 9-run Mooresville rally to win the "game."

    All kidding aside, the SR team has some really good pitching. The Cooper kid has good stuff. I think they'll do well this season. Mooresville has been looking at alot of kids this week and even started a freshman from N. Iredell on the mound last night. Mooresville is scheduled to head up to Bandys for another game with the Lake Norman River Pirates tonite, weather permitting.

    i guess it depends which side of the field your on.
    knowing how i am , i would have called it something besides baseball.
    But my side won anyway... i was sick and didnt make it...

    Kannapolis will have a very tough time repeating this year.

    Brett Bartles...leading hitter at Duke this year will not be back.He is playing in the Cape Cod wooden bat league.

    Kyle Seegar..NWC....probably the best hitter in this area will play impact baseball this year.

    Both the Faggart twins from NWC have decided to play impact ball this season.

    I'm also hearing another NWC player may not play legion ball this season.For a team that only draws from two schools....the Kannapolis legion team cannot have this many no shows and expect to keep winning.

    Kannapolis legion should have a fine pitching staff,but they are going to be short on sticks this season.Too many sticks are going to be no shows this year.

    Sorry 337Fan, my bad. I look for Braves or Pops to create a "sticky" Legion schedule thread real soon after the state playoffs are over or maybe sometime this week. We (Post 66) begin league play this Thursday @ Lexington.
