From what was said early in the HS season, Steedley's rehab was suposed to be ending near the end of the HS season.. I doublt if he's logging too many innings yet, but he was to be released in May I believe....

1st game I have seen in a couple of weeks. Henderson County numbers are way down. Only had about 12 kids dressed for the game. Henderson County record is now 5-13 I believe.

    Kannapolis-7 over Stanly County-6

Wow, what a close call for Ktown. Stanly's Bradley Holt kept the Kann hitters fairly quiet allowing only 3 runs through 7 innings, but then Kann gets 2 unearned runs in the 8th, and 2 more in the 9th to pull out this win. This win definitely falls in the category of "ugly, but we'll take it"...

Btw, Kann's Michael Hamilton had a clutch 2-out hit in that 9th inning and later scored the winning run too. Kann's Nolan Patterson also pitched very well over the last 2+ innings.

Kannapolis remains tied for first place in league with Mocksville.

Poindexter threw a complete game for Mocksville.

Sets up a showdown at South Rowan Thursday night as the division title will be on the line.

Andrew Morgan will be on the hill for South and Cody Crotts will be on the hill for Mocksville acording the papers. Should be a good with both teams number ones going.

Kannapolis 12-5 plays Stanly Co. on Wed.
Mocksville 12-5 plays South on Thurs.
South Rowan 11-6 plays Troy on Wed. & Mocksville on Thurs.
