    Kernersville/King Game

    Great game last night.
    Basham started on the mound for Kville and although he didn't get the decision, pitched solidly. He topped out at least at 89. His first 2 warm-up pitches were 89! Maybe the most impressive thing Basham showed was his curve. It served as his out pitch for much of the game.
    Andy Partin from Impact was there, so maybe he'll have that report on his site soon. I believe Campbell, UNC-A, Montreat and a Royals' scout also came over from the nearby State Games to watch.
