    Good opening game for Kannapolis.After being off for 8 days I was worried about them being sharp,but they played fairly well.

    Pineville vs Monroe GAME II PLAY-OFFS 7/4/03 SUMMARY

    Pineville traveled to Piedmont High School to play Monroe Post 27 in game two of the second round playoffs. Pineville scored six runs on six hits. Chip Pope threw an awesome complete game allowing only one run on four hits. Pineville leads this series two games to none!

    Kannapolis-13 over Concord-2 (7 innings mercy rule)

    Lucas Dalton pitched a complete game for Kannapolis, while Andrew Mead led Ktown with 5 hits and Ryan Petty added a home run. Kannapolis now leads this second round series 2-0 and overall record is now 18-6.

    Taylorsville post 170 evened their series at one game each by beating Charlotte Post 282 10-9.
    post 282 had a 6-0 lead going into the eighth when Post scored 5. post 262 added 3 runs in the ninth and post 170 came back with 5 in the bottom of the ninth. Post 170 only had 10 players available as the beach,church,camps and other reasons caused the absence of players
