    High Point took the series lead with a 2-1 victory....... very well played ball game

    LP: Tesh--no hitter through 5, also picked off 3 guys at first base

    Both pitcher went the distance

    High Point leads the series 2-1 with Game 4 tom. at Finch Field

    Kannapolis-13 over Concord-3 (8 innings mercy rule)

    Kannapolis Post 501 sweeps this series with Concord (3-0) by winning tonight 13-3 in 8 innings. Jonathan Goodman pitched strong for Ktown while Andrew Mead continued his hot hitting by adding 2 homeruns. Tyson Fink also homered for Ktown as they improved their season overall record to 19-6 and now await their 3rd round opponent which should begin next Wednesday at home.

    Game 4 between High Point and Kernersville was rained out tonight and will resume with game 4 tomorrow night at Finch Field
