    game stopped in the bottom of the 6th because of rain. complete game. Jon Willard (Cary) hit a bomb at Hickory's Legion stadium (straight center was 385 and Willard hit it about halfway up the trees behind the flag pole).


    Even though we stayed in the hotel with Garner and rode the bus with them back to Raleigh, I didn't get a good reply on the game, but I THINK:

    Shelby 5
    Garner 4
    7 Innings, (Rain,,, Complete Game).

    Our game tonight vs Shelby was rained out, and Garners game vs Hickory was rained out as well... so we loaded up this afternoon and came home.

    Dadgummit...I hate that for ya JM. That would have been fun for you in Shelby...I hope you had a good time anyway...and hope you can come back near here again...good luck the rest of the year and keep us posted

    Pineville outhit Charlotte 10 to 2, scoring 5 runs on ten hits.
