    What was up with the coaches after the game ?

    I think both coaches should offer apologies to the players and to all the parents for acting that way after the game.. why should our kids be standing in the middle of what could have been an ugly fight between grown men that should know better...

    It was only a 10 run lead with 3 more innings to go at the time... In legion baseball you can score a bunch of runs in a hurry... I didnt see the need to argue over 1 base runner taking an extra base..
    If the score was so out of hand then why didnt SR clear the bench and play the reserves ?? Maybe then the Mooresville coach wouldnt have been stealing ... Just my opinion and observation

    BTW: isnt there a code the players and coaches say before each game? :rolleyes: hummmm

    and btw again, thanks to the pitching coach for SR for getting the almost fight settled down.

    Taylorsville post 170 got their revenge on Asheville post 70 last night with a come from behind barn burner in the bottom of the 9th inning to win 5-4.

    Roxboro Post 138 defeated Smithfield Post 132 by a score of 2-0.

    Ryan Daniel, Sophomore from Bartlett-Yancey High School pitched a six hit shut out. Ryan Struck out 11 walking 2.

    Raleigh Post 1 defeated Roxboro Post 138 by a score of 17-5. Ugly game for the Rock.

    In the second game of the Double Header Roxboro Post 138 defeated Raleigh Post 1 by a 7-3 score.

    Robbie Byrd got the win for Post 138. His line was 6.2 innings 3 runs, 7 hits, 3 k's, and 5 walks.
