    HR: Kevin Mattison 2 one was a Grand Slam and both were in the top of the 9th


    Kernersville trailed 11-6 going into the top of the 9th and Kevin Mattison lead off the inning with a solo homerun. Kernersville put 3 more runs up and Mattison came up again with the bases load and trailing by one and knocked a 2-1 fastball over the rightcenterfield fence. Great legion game tonight in Lexington!

    Kernersville starts conference play tomorrow night at High Point

    Rising senior Jordan Ogle (Owen HS) comes on in the seventh to record 7 Ks and earn the win, pitching out of a one-out, bases-loaded pickle in the 9th. Nasty curve for a strike to go along with high and low heat. He hit the outside part of the plate very well tonight, and came inside with the curve.

    Geoffrey has a severe bruise to the knee and will be out for the remainder of the week. He should be back in action this weekend or early next week.
