    Kernersville takes another high scoring affair at High Point. Trailing 11-9 in the top of the 9th with 2 outs and runners on 2nd and 3rd Garrett Keener drove in the 2 runs and Kernersville went on to score 2 in the 10th on Kyle Boyan's 2 run double. Kevin Mattison continued his hot hitting with yet another homerun. That's 6 HR's in 4 days

    Kernersville plays at South Rowan tonight at 7:15

    Asheville post 70 games

    On Friday night (6/4), Asheville defeated McDowell at McDowell by the score of 11 - 1. Robert Kisiah from Asheville High threw 6 1/3 shutout innings for the win. :applause: On Saturday night (6/5), Asheville defeated Shelby at Shelby 7-0. Brian Welborn from Blue Ridge CC had great stuff that game. :applause: On Monday night (6/7) Burke County defeated Asheville 4-3. Asheville Post 70 is now 6-3 on the season with two loses against Burke County. Those boys from Morganton just have our number this year!
    Heading to Forest City tonight for agame against Rutherford County.

    Asheville post 70 defeated Rutherford County 7-0 behind an excellent pitching effort from rising sophmore Blaine Howell. The left hander never gave Rutherford County the opportunity to cash in on the few hits they got in the game. However, Rutherford county will pick up several players from the E. Rutherford HS team once the state championships are over and that will make a big difference for their team.

    Asheville is now 7-3 overall. :xyzthumbs

    Schley Post 452 defeated Roxboro Post 138 in a slugfest on Tuesday night by a score of 15 to 12. Bats were hot and the pitching was not.
