    Cherryville is a very well coached team. 2 HS state championships in a row. They will bunt and scratch out runs to win.

    Cherryville's ace pitcher Mason dominates Kannapolis on 3 hits with 18 KO.Mason a freshman all-american at UNC-Greensboro was terrific.He has averaged 2 KO per inning the entire legion season.They did not need him in game 1 against Hope Mills which they won 10-0 in seven innings.

    Cherryville scored 3 runs in the 2nd and Mason did the rest.

    As I said earlier Cherryville is the favorite to win the state.They have an excellent team and they got a very favorable draw in the pairings.They have a big game against Eastern Randolph tonight,but I like Cherryville.

    how did north raleigh do today? my soon-to-be roomate plays for them and i am interested in seein' how they do in fayetteville.

    JM15, N. Raleigh plays Pineville today (Monday). winner will play
    Cherryville on Tuesday. Would have to beat Cherryville twice to win state.

    wait, the winner of North Raleigh/Pineville will play Eastern Randolph tonight... and the winner of that will play Cherryville once/twice tomorrow, right?
