Legion Tournament postponed

    The N.C. state legion tournament games for Friday (7-29-05) have been called off due to RAIN!

    1st round games are scheduled to begin Saturday morning at 10:00am.

    Is time a factor here in when the state tournament has to be completed?

    State tournament must be finished by Aug.10...

    Southeast Regionals is scheduled to begin in Dothan, Alabama on Aug.11...

    The word I hear is: if Saturday gets washed, the tournament will be single elimination.

    All game times for Saturday will remain the same as was scheduled for Friday. That means Caldwell's game should start at 4:00 pm assuming no delays.

    Saturday's schedule:

    Game 1: 10:00 am Lexington and Morehead City

    Game 2: 1:00 pm Scottland County and Shelby

    Game 3: 4:00 pm Caldwell County and Eastern Randolph

    Ceremony Special 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

    Game 4: 8:00 pm Cherryville and Pitt County
