    Dallas and JD

Braves, I saw big improvement in Dallas's arm strength last weekend from what it was in the fall. And, it looks like he's gotten a little bigger. He'll be a good one by the time he graduates.

Sorry we missed the Lander game, but we won't be traveling on the weekdays with Matt on the DL with his leg and him staying at school for rehab. Hopefully he'll get good news when he goes back to the doc on the 14th and he'll get the green light.

Wow, bad news about JD, though. I understand he's out for 12 weeks with the shoulder separation from the Lander game. That will be a huge loss. His style of play reminds me of Matt Keever, and we know what Keev did for the team last year. I was following the game on the internet and couldn't figure out if JD's removal from the game was a result of being hit by the pitch in his first at bat, or whether Pait had maybe taken him out of the game for missing a steal or hit and run sign. That has been known to happen in years past. Didn't find out until after the game about the shoulder injury.

Looking forward to the weekend against Pfeifffer and watching TJ in his pitching debut for the Bears. Hopefully the weather will cooperate.

Yea, but only if you can put up with his big mouth! :lach: Boy, you talk about a chatterbox........NOT!

Dallas is a great kid. When he and my son played together, they just exchanged grunts and shrugs - two quietest kids on the team. They knew exactly how they wanted to pitch to guys.

Man, I don't want to rush it, but I can't wait til Matt comes back. He just makes us a different team...more potent!
