Lenoir Rhyne's head coach, Frank Pait, has resigned to spend more time with his family. Coach Pait will be returning to his hometown, Wilkesboro, to be closer to his parents and to take on a HS coaching position.

I'll tell you what...this is a great position for somebody. They have a lot of building plans going on, including lights for the '08 year and having a new sports complex with dressing rooms near the field.

My biggest concern is perhaps losing the talented Coach Hendricks. I hope he gets the position

    Stay tuned!

Big news for recent L-R recruits. It will definitely be interesting what happens to Hendricks. Hopefully, he'll get to stay.

Also, UNC-G is losing two of its assistants from last season. Coach Serrano has taken the job at Charlotte Latin in their recent hiring spree, and Coach Schumaker has also left.

    I'm obviously partial

One of the best baseball people I've been around.

Break out the pitchforks and flaming hay bails, and let's start the chant!

    HIRE HENDRICKS!!!!!!

Disappointed would only begin to describe how I'd feel if he did not get the job. He's had just as much to do with that team as Coach Pait has the last few years, and he deserves his shot.

I usually don't voice my opinion on this board, but this time I felt obligated.

    Oh yeah

There are a lot of good jobs open right now. Lot of rumors circulating too.

I would be surprised if John (Hendricks) did not get the job. It would upset some feelings and probably some commitments if he does not.

John Hendricks is the only choice for the LRC job. He is a baseball man. They will not be able to find anyone with his background and knowledge. Get it right LRC and HIRE HENDRICKS.
