    I believe you are right PRD. They probably won't announce a new hire until the end of July or the 1st of August. At this point, no names applying have been announced. In fact, no interviews have been done.

    Didnt Brian Craig from AC Reynolds play at LR???? I might be wrong, maybe it was Carson Newman????? litlle help here fellas??? Would he even be considered a candidate???

    Hire Hendricks

    Put me down for the "Hire Coach Hendricks" campaign. I was really impressed with him when he recruited our son. His baseball acumen and work ethic are top notch.
    Hope he gets the nod.

    Not sure if this is the best place for this or not but I know the message will get out to worried LR players, parents, and recruits. It looks like the time line has been set for around August 1st. I've not been told very much up to this point but I know that much.

    Am one of the finalist but not sure who else will be interviewed.

    Thank you for the kind comments. I'm sure whoever it is will be a great pick by LR administration.

    This is only an opinion. If John Hendricks gets the position, it will be announced the end of the month or first of August. If it's someone else, I wouldn't be surprised to see it announced later. The AD will try to protect himself from a potential mass exodus of returning players.

    When you do get the position, let me be the first to extend my offer to be your 1st assistant and associate head coach. But keep in mind that I can only coach on Tuesdays, sometimes Thursdays and maybe throw in a Saturday every now and then. Oh...and during the fall it's football season, so I can be on call to offer helpful advice. Good luck, Coach!
