Lightening things up for a moment ...remembering the love of the game

After some pretty heavy conversation this week surrounding one of the serious downsides that can occur in softball, I thought perhaps we would all enjoy lightening things up for a few minutes, and maybe share a moment in your dd's that showed you how wonderful this game can be.

I, quite by accident, captured one of those moments on film this weekend.

My daughter is very serious and rarely does her poker face allow people to catch her private moments unawares. This picture, below, reminded me this weekend just how much joy this game gives her, as the camera caught her on a hot, muggy day, in hot, sweaty catcher gear, with a smile lighting up her face from her sheer joy of playing the game.
