    the pitcher is either Haley Shelton (who has played some for the G'Boro Glare in the past I believe) or one of the Hale twins. I am sorry I dont know exactly. I do not know the hitter. Shelton played some Varsity for East this past season. I believe there maybe one other girl on this team who played some varisty ball.

    Correct Me, Because I'm Probably Wrong ???

    I thought once you played other than rec type ball you couldn't play in the Little League Organization, and compete in the Little League World Series, due to stiffer competition,or that's what I was told..I was told this was geared toward rec play.....ML

    I believe the rule is you cannot be on another roster while playing LL. At least that was the rule in baseball a couple of years ago.

    As applied to Softball:

    They lifted that rule a couple years ago for Juniors and above. They also lifted the rule regarding coaches.... Little League figured out that they were losing too many girls to TB. (I always felt they were a little selfish with their rules.) They have since changed their ways.

    It still applies to Little League(12U) level on down though.

    Regular season LL is geared to rec play but not the Tournament. You would be amazed at the teams that you play at Regionals and above. Florida, Tennessee, and Georgia always have excellent teams in our region. The only difference between LL Tournament play and TB is that the LL is truly a "neighborhood" team. They must geographically from the same area.

    12U= Little League
    14U= Junior League
    16U= Senior League
    18U= Big League
