    Why parents complain

    Why do parents complain? Because it works. Parents have been trained from little league to travel ball to high school if you pitch a bi%# you get your way and what you want. When coaches go back to "old school" way and tell the parents here are the rules concerning parent input and then stick to it, then one parent being successful leads to the next parent giving it a try. The quite parent with the equally marginal player son gets hosed so the marginal player with complaining parents are patcied so the coach doesn't have to deal with crap from the problem parents. Whine and complain=a step in front of the quite, respectful parent if players are equal. Coaches need admin. support and the backbone to tell the whinny parents to go take a hike.

    Yup...no excuses summed it up perfectly...whiny parents...the gift that keeps on giving.
