LLG Team Miken Wins CO Independence Day Tournament

    Lady Lightning Gold - Team Miken won the Louisville bracket of the 2013 Louisville Slugger Independence Day Tournament in Colorado, going 11-0 for the week. It was a dominating performance for the LLGTM ladies who blasted 15 home runs and limited their 11 opponents to a total of 8 runs, while posting 6 shutouts. It was a great week for these young ladies!

    Congrats that is a big accomplishment!

    Carolina Elite Genovese also qualified for Boulder next year. Its a huge deal for both programs and the extra players from the area getting that experience.

    Congrats to both LLG and SC Elite!

    It will be great to have a couple other teams from NC and SC in Boulder. It is a fantastic tournament with some awesome competition!
