LLWS - Off Topic, but worth noting...

    Congratulations to Morganton, NC Little League Baseball team. Always proud to see Carolina teams making it in the national spotlight....whether it be softball or baseball.

    They will be representing the Southeast US in the Little League World Series played in Williamsport, PA. Games will be played 8/20-8/29, most having coverage on ESPN.

    Morganton will play in the 1st game of the series against Davenport, Iowa Friday 8/20 @ 1:00 PM and again Sunday 8/22 @ 3:00 PM against the US-West. Practicing softballers, be sure to set the VCR's

    I watched some of the regional championship game. I used to live in Morganton for 6 years & my mom & dad and my sister & family still live there.

    I just hope they wear their regular uniforms. The one's they had on were nasty (red t-shirt). The rec dept. had a bunch of calls about the uniforms. They said that they wore the t-shirts because the regular uniforms were to hot for Florida.

    :xyzthumbs A BIG THUMBS UP`S TO ALL OF THE COACHES AND PLAYERS!!!!! ALL OF ALEXANDER CO. WILL BE PULLING HARD FOR YOU TO WIN IT ALL!!!!!!!! A NOTE ON THE UNIFORMS, I THINK THAT WILL HAVE TO WEAR SOMETHING THAT HAS SOUTHEAST ON THEM. I MAY BE WRONG ??? GOOD LUCK AGAIN AND BRING IT BACK TO THE TAR HEEL STATE!!!!!!!:banana:
