    How come some conferences have tournaments and some don't? Seems like it should be the same all across the board when qualifying for the playoffs.

    $$$ for some spread out conferences the travel $ isnt offset enough by the gate reciepts.

    most of the conferences have so many make the playoffs conference tournaments are for pride only and dont settle anything (especially in split conferences)

    Kings Mtns conference the last time didnt play one because they had only 6 teams so they played each other 3 times.

    the Big South (gaston County) has 5 of 7 teams play in an easter tournament as well. but the tny stopped while conference was 3a/4a. Gaston County schoolshas limited the distance teams can travel.

    Hey BOXMAN...

    I see the site link to PiedmontSports (looks like it will be a good one...), but what will be the SECOND day of the CPC? Three days straight or will they play 2nd round Thurs? What day for finals?

    Catcoach - when and where is the Piedmont Triad Conference tournament?

    The CPC tournament is at Rich Park and will be Tues-Thurs.

    West Forsyth and North Davidson both recieved byes in the 1st round.
