Looking for jv softball games

I am in need of as many jv games as possible. In the CVAC conference my understanding is there is only going to be two teams with a jv, us (hibriten) and bunker hill. Can anyone help me out? We have a varsity schedule of 24 games but our jv schedule dropped to 6 games.

Hibritensball, Please share any information on JV games with Bunker Hill!!! This will be the first JV team at BHHS in a very long time.

 

Bunker Hill isn't going to be able to have a jv either. Does anyone know what the reason coould be for none of the Catawba County schools to have a jv softball team?

 

I was told today by Adrienne Long(NC) that Foard was having a jv after basketball. As far as Newton goes, it takes a while to rebuild. Charlie was a great guy and some of the girls just didn't come out for our new coach. By the way, we only had 15 show for tryouts, 3 quit the 1st day, after the 3-4 basketball players come out she is having another cut. Looks like 1 freshman starter, 3 others to get lots of pt.

 

Can't believe with 15 or 16 players and no JV team any coach would consider having a cut.

 

I spoke with the Foard coach Friday and she said they for sure were not having a jv and didn't mention having one after basketball.

 

She would definately know more about it than our coach...LOL Good luck coach!

 

JV softball

The girls at Bunker Hill were told they needed 25 to have a JV team. I don't know exactly how many tried out but it had to be close! The team did not have any seniors last year so all but a few players will be returning (a few chose to run track). There are at least 6 freshman that should be on the team, but with only a few spots on the roster (15 girls) the coach will be forced to cut girls who were on the team last year or cut girls who have great potential to the program in the coming years. I would not want her job!!!!

can't believe with all the apparent popularity of girls fastpitch softball in NC, with all the rec ball and travel ball, etc, etc that many high schools are coming up short-handed on fielding JV teams.
