Lots of College Softball

    Get out and catch your favorite college this weekend. Big tourney at UNCC with several local teams, I believe GWU and Queens are a part of UNCC's tourney, the Abbey is playing a double header at home against a couple HS teams I believe. UNC-Ch is playing Longwood on Sunday in Chapel Hill and Mars Hill is playing also but not sure where. UNCC games start at 9am Sat. and I think Belmont Abbey's games begin at 2pm.
    Oh and for all U football fans go see the Western Carolina Catamounts play the GWU Bulldogs at 6pm at Gardner Webb! U have got to see the stadium additions at GWU, UNreal! Over 6000 people were at the Furman game last Saturday. I plan to go see Emily Forbes and UNCC at 9am, go to the Abbey to see one of my daughters play and then on to GWU for some tailgating and football! I am a WCU grad with a GWU senior daughter so can not miss that game. Forgot GWU and Belmont Abbey play softball Sunday at GWU so guess I have to take that game in also. :laugh1: :laugh1:

    The UNCC tournament is at home Saturday. A chance to see some local girls in action. Emily Forbes-St.Stephens, Evan Miller-USCS and Central Cabarrus, Kristen Bowen-Butler, Kristi Killough and Candace Brackett-Robinson, Becky and Susan Matthews-Myers Park.

    9am: Charlotte vs ETSU
    11am: ETSU vs Furman
    1:30 pm: UNCC vs Furman
    3:30: championship game.
