    Six NC palyers were named to Louisville Slugger's 2006 Pre-Season H.S.
    All-American Teams.

    First Team Selections:
    Timmy King - RHP, Piedmont HS
    Josh Thrailkill - RHP, TC Roberson
    Kyle Seager - IF, Northwest Cabarrus
    Addison Johnson - OF, North Forsyth
    Dustin Ackley - OF, North Forsyth

    Second Team:
    Dusty Quatlebaum - 3B, Crest HS

    It's true...he is in rehab and my be back for some of the H.S. season.....

    Glad to see Josh Thrailkill on the list. You know it wasn't many years ago that you never saw any mtn kids get recognized, especially on a national level. Congrats to Josh.

    None from Central or Eastern NC??

    I really am not knowledgable of the top HS baseball players across the State of NC, but my first impression of the 1st & 2nd team Louisville Slugger Pre-season A-A list posted was that there are only players included from the Peidmont & Western NC.
    Are there any Central & Eastern players that deserve recognition?
