The press release on collegiatebaseball.com has him listed as North Forsyth. I thought he played for South Stokes.

I think that he transferred to North Forsyth at the beginning of his Sr year.
When I read the post listing South Stokes as his HS, I thought maybe he had decided to go back to South for some reason.

A couple of players that come to mind that could have been on this team are Ryan Morris of South Meck and Drew Poulk of West Carteret.

Cetainly, there are: two off the top of my head are Drew Poulk and Alex White. Drew was rated #42 in the country by Baseball America and Jared Bard from Charlotte Christian is ranked #74. All the players mentioned are deserving of the accolades, but the one's I mentioned are too. Kyle Seegar and Dustin Ackley are names I would have included

...and how could you leave out Ryan Morris. Perhaps the best LHP in the state. Most of the MLB scouts share that belief

    Johnson & Ackley

Addison has been working extemely hard in rehab and in preseason workouts and is ahead of his rehab schedule. Ackley did transfer last summer and will play at North Forsyth this season.

    Timmy King

Upon talking with his high school coach it is true Timmy King has not signed with anyone yet. But I also got the chance to ask "why?" Coach Flow at Piedmont said that he wants to keep all the options open, even if it is a little late in the process. That's okay though, not many people know where Unionville/Piedmont is..I'd like to see this kid help in putting them on the map..

On another note, congrats to the 6 NC players selected- way to put NC on the map! All of these guys are fierce competitors, except I believe Timmy is the only one who remains unsigned:agreed:

It just not right to say its "late" unless its a matter of ego. You don't have to "go early" to be a quality player. I know of a kid who, last year at the very end of his senior season, received a committment of almost $100,000 (obviously over 4 years). Was that late? the kid is a great kid, he's going to get a great education and he gets to play baseball!

TK will be fine and he will get his time in the sun. Until then, I have a feeling he'll become even more determined and dedicated to using the talent he's been blessed with.

I for one am glad he's not signed yet. With Lyerly already signed at short and my kid playing second Timmy should be getting some recruitng visits. It can only help my scenario if my kid has a good game while they are there to watch Timmy. He said he's gotten offers, but is just waiting. I'm sure he would like to get the best offer available to him. Holding out a little longer may be the best for him. I'm sure he'll do great where ever he goes. He's a bulldog on the hill.

Don't worry about TK...he will be fine, he's just waiting for what he wants.
