    It will be fun to watch Madison "Avenue". With Randy Johnson down, I wonder how much longer the Giants will hold the Mad-Dog back?

    I hope his Dad remembers his promise to me about my seats!:trophy:

    I just logged on to ESPN.com and Madison's picture is on the home page, one of three players pictured related to an article about the MLB Futures game...nice feature on Madison inside.

    Rain Stinks Sometimes

    Well Thanks to all for their support and for taking the time out of your day to watch, or attempt to watch, Madison pitch in the Futures Game today. But when the FOUR HOUR rain delay came after he had already gotten warmed up and prepared to pitch it became bad taboo for him to do it again and pitch. Again thank you to all that tried to watch, and support Madison, I am just very sorry that he could not show you how he is trying to improve his craft. Maybe in September???

    we will all get to see him and his "stuff" for a long time... as Manny said "he's goood!"

    I think we're all just anxious for everyone else to see a "homeboy"!

    In addition he was promoted to AA this year and made the allstar team as well as the Futures team. Very impressive!!

    madison had a good game tonite
    pitched 7 innings gave up 1 earned run
    went 2 for 3 at the plate
    hit a gran slam and a single scored 2 runs
    is now 3 for 7 for a 429 batting average
    has a 1.59 era


    glad to see him get some at bats
