Martin Koon 2012 Commits to College of Charleston

    I want to congratulate Martin on his commitment to College of Charleston. Martin has played in the Heat organization for over 3 years. He is a great kid and well deserving. Congratulation to him and his family.

    Congrats to Martin!

    And to his Dad Marty. This is a terrific kid. I've had the pleasure of knowing him since he was 9 years old. It's NOT true that he hit a HomeRun every game we played them......................sometimes he hit two or three!

    Ask his Dad about the "two times rule" I implemented when we played them. LOL. If he was twice the size of our pitcher (which he often was) he got an intention walk. The Mom's on our team loved the rule. It was very necessary!
