Mauldin at Enka April 18th

Mauldin comes to town to play Enka on Monday April 18th. Mauldin will play Central Cabarrus on Saturdy April 16th before they drive up to Enka the following monday. Should be a great game and good non conference battle that will prepare both teams for the up and coming playoffs.
Mauldin's record is 16-4. Not sure of games played last week. Their losses have come to the likes of state 4a powerhouse South Florence in close scores and to Hillcrest in the tournament championship game in Columbia two weeks ago. Should be a great game. Come on out and support the community as well as see a great ballgame... It should be a blast

Is this in place of the McDowell game scheduled for the 18th?

 

Must be. I spoke with the Mauldin coach today and he said he was playing Enka at Enka on Monday the 18th. 6pm

 

Enkamom12, I got curious so I called the Mauldin coach and he told me that they are playing after the Enka/McDowell game. So, come early and watch a doubleheader.

Enka’s undefeated softball team isn’t shying away from competition. In fact, the Sugar Jets have added South Carolina powerhouse Mauldin to their schedule.

The Sugar Jets (9-0) will host a rare doubleheader April 18 at Hominy Valley Recreation Park, facing McDowell at 4 p.m. and Mauldin immediately after.

“Mauldin is one of the better teams in South Carolina,” Enka athletic director Brian Carver said. “We’re really excited to play someone with that kind of reputation. It should be a fun night for our fans.”

 

The first game may be against Tuscola (make-up game) instead of McDowell.
Still waiting to hear for sure.

 

Looks like Enka will makeup the Tuscola game on April 18th as part of a double header with Mauldin, SC. The Mcdowell game scheduled on the 18th apparently won't be played. Starting time is 4, last I heard. :
