I've heard word that David Riggs is stepping down as McDowell's head coach. Where do the Titans go from here?

i see why you have been missing in action and just skipping softball and baseball all together.....but with the Chargers rolling back into the NWC, it is a priority though :xyzthumbs

    I hear ya.

This is just another reason that Kings Mountain needs to get on the ball and figure out a way to get him first.

Are you guys talking about the same guy that was the Crest coach when they made their first appearance in the NW4A?

Unless there is something done about $$$$$, don't expect a high profile name here at all. The suppliment is way low for a head coach. I'm bummed about coach Riggs leaving. Great guy, great coach, but just wasn't in the good ole boy network.

Okay, CFball and smashmouth, since you two obviously know who you are talking about, lets have some specifics. Good coach?, bad coach? Was he one of the lynchpins on the Crest staff when they were in the NW4A earlier? You don't have to drop names, I'm just looking for you opinions.

good young coach and has turned around a 4A football program since leaving Crest and KMT. was one of Stewarts and Kirbys assistant and this is just wishful thinking by me. He is a great motivator and an excellent teacher

you know well that NW4A isnt know for its Football so doubtful that he leaves Gaston county for the beauty of Marion..just having some off season fun :p

Is EG a 4A school? I thought they were 3A. I don't know if he would enjoy coaching McDowell anymore than where he is right now. It might be a lateral move more than a step up. No offense to McDowell.
