McKenney Continues Hot Streak

    In the recent 3 game series against FL State, UNC sophomore catcher Brittany McKenney went 7 for 10 at the plate including the game winning home run in the first game. FL State won the series by taking 2 of 3 games.

    McKeney's batting average is second highest on the team at .371 and she currently leads the ACC in runners caught stealing throwing out 9 of 14 attempts.

    Yea

    Watched her play two of three games, she is on fire and handles the pitchers very well!

    Congrats on the torrid pace. Does not sound good for Allie Blake. Is she getting to play much?

    .....correct me if I'm wrong UNC folks, I heard that Allie Blake suffered some kind of concushion type gig. Not taking anything away from Bmac, she's awesome and I'm proud of her for sure.

    Constance Orr has been contributing with the bat and Brittany has continued her hot bat as UNC is now 21-7! Ally Blake is better and will make her impact as well!:EMOSTdungHL1:

    From what I understand they are playing Ally at a couple other pos. She's too good of a player to not be on the field. But I also know of a few other fresh that are too! She'll be fine, & will contribute to the Heels!

    Ally is already contributing and pushing Britt to keep playing at a high level and supporting her as much or more than anyone. She is playing third, catching some and hits the ball when she gets to the plate. UNC has a great deal of talent and they all contribute to a team environment which will hopefully lead them to regionals and on to world series. All the freshman will contribute before this year is over as UNC had a great 2008 class, let's support all of the NC schools to make it!:goofy:
