meca 6 baseball tourney

    Tourney Cancelled

    The MECA-6 Tournament has been canceled due to weather.
    My understanding is that if they could not get the games in on Saturday, the entire conference tournament would be cancelled and the top 4 conference seeds would go on to the state playoffs.

    The Observer showed it as cancelled also, but then I saw a score of a game between Vance and Robinson, Vance winning 6-5. Was that part of a tournament?

    Playoff?

    I believe these two teams had identical records (conf) and had a one game playoff. I believe they split during the regular season.
    Perhaps Pirates06 could help on this one???
