MECA 7 PREDICTIONS

    with only about a month or so before the season begins what are some of your predictions on how the meca 7 will go.:bandana:

    I think that it will be a dog fight between Hopewell and JM Robinson for first place. Hopewell is loaded like always but Robinson could have a special year if things fall right. North Meck should finish 3rd followed by Mallard Creek and Central fighting for 4th and 5th followed by Vance and then West Charlotte.

    Hopewell will be strong no doubt. They did lose there projected starting right fielder kyle Himler. Himler played JV last season and i think some limited varsity.This is a great kid coming from a great family.He had Tommy John. the last i heard he was doing great in his recovery ahead of schedule.we wish this kid a speedy recovery.Tons of talent he will be missed by this baseball team. hopefully he is ready by playoff time.keep fighting kyle.

    Don't know about Robinson, but Hopewell and North both graduated a number of seniors last year. While those three should be serious contenders for the top spots, don't underestimate Mallard Creek. They have some talent and played very respectible baseball for a first-year team in '08.
