How do the traditional powerhouses of Meca 8 softball look this coming year?

Is it down to a battle between Central Cabarrus and Hopewell again? Is North Meck going to fit into the picture?

    How about an update..................

North Meck could cause some problems, good pitching, speed but CC should still win the conference. Hopewell could be a threat if the young pitching continues to improve. Don't count out Independence as they have some good seniors and a few underclassman that can play.

I am baised. Central should be loaded again. We return 7 defensive starters and 6 hitters and had one transfer who will make an impact. North Meck will be good and I agree, Indy will be tough. West Meck made great strides last year. Hopewell is be competitive. Who knows about vance, Harding and West Charlotte.
My prediction is to follow suit with last years finish in the top half.
    Central, North, Indy, then Hopewell.
