    2nd Round Meca-8 Tournament:

    North Meck vs Hopewell, 5PM @ Harding
    Independence vs Central Cabarrus (to follow)

    Round #1 in the the Meca-8 proceeded without any upsets.

    Time change: Tonight's first contest at Harding (North Meck vs Hopewell) will be pushed back to a 6:00 start time in order to accomidate AP exams.

    Indy and Central Cabarrus, please plan accordingly.

    Independence North Meck Game

    Great game played by both teams. Farry and Porter pitched well and both teams played hard. Although the first two games were 6-0 Indy and 5-1 North Meck, they were very tight games. Both these teams are well coached. People who were there that didn't have a dog in the fight told me it was one of the best games they saw this year. Great job by two class teams.
