    Megan Chapman had a very good weekend of Softball as a Freshman @ Winthrop University ( 2-2 ). Starting all 4 games @ SS & batting .556 with 5 hits in 9 AB with 3 RBI.

    wow

    I checked the Winthrop website and Chapman is the only NC girl and only 2 players from SC. Several from Canada.

    Coach Cooke is a great guy.......I hope he is starting to see that he can find all the talent he needs right here in his back yard.

    She can hit!......and BTW....

    ....Winthrop has rocking sports facilities. Softball, Baseball, Soccer, Tennis, Basketball. Nice for recruiting.

    Winthrop at UNCC

    Winthrop looked impressive today in their DH with UNCC. Winning with scores of 7-2 and 12-2.

    Megan was solid today as well as the rest of the Eagles.

    Still Achieving

    Megan is still having an excellent year at Winthrop. She has started every game as their Freshman short stop. She is to be commended for her hard work and dedication to softball and learning.
