    LR University games

Unfortunately Mother Nature pulled a fast one on us and today's games got rained out which was a big bad surprise......One player that impressed me was Logan Ratledge of the SC Panthers, he has that take no prisoners look. Saw other great players but with no lineup cards I did not get the names. Saw Gary Randall of MLB and Scott Jackson of UNC scouting the games all day Sunday.

My games: SC Panthers 17u beat Charlotte Megastars, SC Panthers 17u and Charlotte Heat 17u either played to a tie game or Cats won by 1 run, Proelhific Power won a close game over the Megastars.

Today we got 1 inning in before the rains came the SC Panthers 16u and CBC Army 16u each scored a run in what was going to be a great intense game. Enjoyed meeting Jeff Schaef, Jake Robbins, Richard Foy and staff of CBC.

Many thanks to Jason Harris for having us umpire this season opening event.

Stretchy -- you are right, that would have been a fun game to watch, BUT those were both 2012 teams (16U). SCP is considering taking the winter tour on the basketball circuit!

Your right the 17u teams (SCP/CBC) were going to play the 2nd game today which I was also looking forward to so I could meet Slide.

Colin Quinn (Ft. Mill), Ross Hobson (Myers Park) and Cody Hylton (No. Lincoln) added 2 hits each.
Jordan Accetta (Charlotte Catholic) got the win on the mound allowing 4 runs (2 earned), 4 bb and 3 K's
