Mens' World Cup games

I'm from upstate PA. Right off the Lake. Erie use to host a huge men's fastpitch tournament Memorial day weekend. These guys play all year round, travel to differet countries to play. Not sure if that tournament still goes on. However, the best tournament to watch. Alot of teams from Canada, Ohio, PA, NY. Some are ex baseball players. That didn't make it in the pros. Not all of them can adjust though. This particular area is huge into fastpitch for women and men. I remember playing in a tournament and getting my a$$ handed to us by a group of 40 year old women playing fastpitch. We were all in college and played in college. Pretty impressive.

They still hold it. Great field trip. 2 1/2 more hours and you can big at Niagara Falls.

sounds like now that mens fastpitch is mostly a northern US thing.

why has it sort of left the south , or at least NC? has it?

 

No pitchers, and guys like to play slow pitch and hit home runs, mainly the pitching though.

It's kind of amazing how many female pitchers there are. Guys could learn, but there's really no reason to. They play baseball when they are young.

 

I will promise you that the ball arrives at the plate much more quickly, while I havent played softball in years, I did play several years and our pitchers were throwing in the eighties.
M. Bollick the excoach of AC still pitches during the summer and he still throw in the very high seventies.
Men's softball is a very different world to than the ladies game....
