Methodist Monarchs move up in D-III Poll

    The Methodist Monarch Baseball Team has jumped in the latest American Baseball Coaches Association D-III poll from #21 to #6 in the nation. The Monarchs catapulted 15 spots from 21st to sixth in the new poll for the largest advancement of any team in the poll. Methodist received 203 points for the ranking, and trail fifth-ranked Trinity (Conn.) by one point and fourth-ranked Wooster by three points. Rowan is the nation’s top-ranked team with 240 points, followed by Chapman and Wisconsin-Whitewater.

    The Monarchs are currently in first place in the USA South Conference with a record of 21-8. :229031_ha

    Monarch take 2 against Greensboro and clinch the USA South Conference title Monarch are 23-9 (12-5) and are #6 in the country with the new polls coming out Monday.....CONGRATS to the MONARCHS
