Josh McClure, M.Ed., CSCS, Owner/Founder, XPE/McClure Sports, Charlotte, NC

After returning home to Charlotte in 2010 and noticing the lack of high level athletic
performance available to Charlotte area middle and high school athletes, Josh decided to bring
the proven XPE Sports training program to his hometown and started XPE/McClure Sports in
late 2010. After spending 3 years building SpeedToWin and SpeedTracs in Atlanta, Josh dedicated himself full-time to changing the landscape of youth athletic performance in Charlotte.

Since starting XPE/McClure Sports, Josh has been blessed to work with over 530 student-athletes in 2011 thru his partnerships with Porter Ridge & Weddington schools in Union County and Champions Baseball Academy in Pineville. Overall, McClure Sports has worked with elementary, middle & high school football, basketball, baseball, softball, hockey, track & field and volleyball. During the first year of training, Josh has been privileged to work with a number of programs that achieved a high level of success, including:

• 2011 Porter Ridge HS Football- NCHSAA 4A State Championship Runner-Up
• 2011 Weddington HS Basketball- Southern Carolina Conference Tournament Runner-Up
• 2012 Porter Ridge HS Softball- Southern Carolina Regular Season & Tournament Champs, Western Regional Finalist (still playing), Nationally Ranked
• 2012 Weddington HS Baseball- Southern Conference Tournament Runner-Ups , Western Regional Finalist (still playing)
• 2012 Porter Ridge HS Track- Southern Carolina Conference- 3rd- Individual Champions in Boy’s 100, 200, 400, 110 Hurdles, 300 Hurdles, 4x100 relay, Girl’s Discuss & Long Jump (Swept all Boy’s sprint events)

Prior to creating XPE/McClure Sports, Josh spent 3 years with SpeedTracs in Atlanta where he rose through the trainer ranks to ultimately fill the role of International Director of Training and head the training department he created and staffed. Josh’s years of service with SpeedTracs allowed him the opportunity to develop the onsite coach training program, guide and manual which he used to personally install speed stations at 54 high schools across the country. He was instrumental in assisting SpeedTracs branch out from Georgia and into new states such as:

1. Alabama
2. North Carolina
3. Kentucky
4. New Mexico

Josh’s onsite training program was used by his staff to train an additional 20 high schools
nationwide. In helping SpeedTracs evolve and develop into an online services company, Josh
developed the SportsTracs performance tracking software online training process. He used his
process to train 15 major colleges and universities while at SpeedTracs including:

1. Alabama
2. Florida
3. California-Berkeley
4. Wake Forest
5. Michigan State

In addition to working with high school coaches to implement SpeedTracs professional speed
and agility training programs, Josh gave SpeedTracs the idea to develop a web-based
performance tracking software; SportsTracs, which is currently being used by all SpeedTracs
high school and college and university clients. In addition to developing SportsTracs, Josh also
built the online help center and provided software support for all coaching clients. During his
time at SpeedTracs, Joshs onsite and online training programs have been used with over 75 high
schools and 15 colleges and are still used to this day after he had been let go. One of Josh’s
proudest accomplishments while at SpeedTracs is the countless athletes and over 200 high
school and college coaches he has been able to humbly serve.

One of Joshs most rewarding responsibilities while at SpeedTracs was to work directly with
Master Trainers to help develop their speed and agility training programs specific to the speed
station. While at SpeedTracs, Josh had the privilege to work with:

1. Tony Villani
2. Joe Kenn
3. Loren Seagrave
4. Jeff Dillman
5. Chip Smith

The opportunity to work alongside the top performance coaches in the world has allowed Josh to
continue to develop his athletic performance theories and curriculum.
While working with SpeedTracs, Josh encountered many opportunities to make significant
connections within the sports and fitness industries. He quickly developed a business
professional relationship with Under Armour in June of 2010. Josh received the Combine 360(c360) Certification by the IMG performance institute in Bradenton, FL also in June of 2010. He became a well known trainer within their company and worked combines such as:

1. 1st ever Under Armour baseball combine in conjunction with Ripken Academy in
Maryland
2. Elite 24 basketball combine with the Top 24 high school basketball players in the country
in conjunction with ESPN/Rise
3. 1st ever IMG/Under Armour Basketball on the East Coast in New York City.

Before joining the SpeedTracs Team, Josh held the position of Director of Outside Training at
XPE Sports in Roswell, Georgia. During his time at XPE Sports, Josh worked under Tony
Villani, founder of XPE Sports and founder of SpeedToWin. While at XPE, Josh was able to
learn speed & agility technique and theory from the maestro. At XPE Sports, Josh managed 9
area speed stations in Cobb & Fulton counties, working closely with athletic departments and
coaching staffs. In addition, Josh worked w/ Tony Villani and the XPE staff during the 2009
NFL Combine training and with off-season NFL training. He continues to learn from Tony
Villani and his XPE Sports staff. To this day, Josh will credit Tony Villani with helping him
develop his speed and agility training theory and curriculum.......
Hope this will suffice

Very nice!!! Thanks for the feedback. Many times we get companies on here posting their "stuff", but they rarely stay around to answer questions.

Thank you for posting your information and let me know if TBR can help. Good luck and I wish you continued success.
