Michael Knox from Apex not at UNC?

    Michael Knox not on UNC roster?
    What happend?
    This kid loved baseball and came from a great family.
    Injuries set him back but I thought that he had overcome all the injuries.

    He left a long time ago. Don't think it was injury related nor any big secret. Appeared his just decided not to play.

    Are you sure you have a clue what you are talking about?
    He practiced with the team in the fall World Series so I do not understand the long time ago comment.
    Do you know for a fact he left on his own or are you just speculating why he is not playing?

    Well, when I said a long time ago, I meant it wasn't recently. I know that he practiced in the fall and played in the fall world series. My son knows him and he just decided not to play. It's a shame because he was a good player. Didn't mean to upset anyone.

    Here are some facts-

    Thats the 3rd player listed on TBR who was on the roster who now is not....I suspect you will hear more things like that from $$$ - they have 11 players on their roster who are potentially draft eligiable in 2009 (all jr's and sR's - some likely all will not sign). They inked 18 (2009 grads) for the 2010 season - might lose 2-3 of those to the draft. Already have 10+ 2010 grads comitted. Roster limits are 35 so you can't keep everyone.

    Just curious...they, UNC, only have 30 men on the roster when they could have 35, is that about $$$$ or losing players like Knox, Catapano, and others who transferred.
    I know they can have 35 total, just curious.

    I heard Knox was tired of battling injuries that has been keeping him down since his senior year of HS. Great kid and a really hard worker. I hate that injuries kept him from showing how good he could be.

    he is playing at Mount Olive College, and doing a spectacular job. With after yesterday, i think 12 homeruns in 17 games. He is doing well, and still playing tough.
