    Wow!

Michael hit 3 homers in a game twice last week. I'd say he has found his groove. Bobby Leeper, a transfer from UNCW, is hitting a ton for Mt. Olive as well. The offense on that team is plain scary.

The whole team in a general is on the ball this year.. Jeremy Nowak is also doing fairly well on homeruns, as well as Daniel Coffey. Lancaster is doing a mighty good job with his boys this year, they just took their first loss March 6.. but they came back, and got back to normal beating them 14-9.

    Mike Knox

Mike was on the Fall roster at UNC in '08, but not in the Spring of '09...had battled a knee injury...but appears to be over that. He has attended Mount Olive this past Fall and now this Spring, so he was not on the roster at UNC this past Fall, nor did he play in the '09 Fall World Series at UNC. He is one of my son's roomates and a nice young man. He has been an absolute beast at the plate this year, and we are very glad to have him at Mount Olive.

    Nowak

Jeremy Nowak is one to really keep an eye on, a true "5 Tool" player. This young man is put together extremely well, runs well, good arm, and one of the prettiest swings you'll ever see. He is also a switch hitter, but more effective hitting as a lefty.

    Knox at Mount Olive

Mike is eating up D2 pitching. Saw him against Barton on Sunday. Mt Olive is stacked 23 and 1 as of sunday's sweep. They can play with anyone!

    Knox and Mt. Olive

Fully agree. Knox is a beast with a bat in his hand. He hits it scary hard! MO is very, very good. They hit from top to bottom and got some guys on the bench that can hit also. I see them going deep in the post season just like 2008, as long as pitching holds up and right now that looks good too. I also agree they could beat some ( key word is some) and possibly a lot of D-I teams. I'm telling you......they BE GOOD!
