    Drill 'em......

In a comfort zone? Outside distractions? Poor or inappropriate glove selection, or shoes not tied? :laugh1: lack of focus/concentration! I am a firm believer in all sorts/varieties of "hand/soft hand drills!!! Just as you have the great running back who has a case of fumbleitis..the same can be said about infielders!! KNOW that 98% of ALLLLLLLLLL errors occur after the ball has been "touched" by the infielder.... Of those that are booted the remaining errors are accounted for via the throwing type (easily correctable as well)... baseball players in general DO NOT spend enough time "just" playing with, and feeling the baseball, and examining it closely! THE baseballmust become a friend not an enemy something to want and not shy away from etc..., believe it or not!? There are many, many drills for practice and if not just for fun to create the sixth sense effect in which the ball just as the bat gets to the point of becoming an "extention" of the hands!!! Good observation Braves in regards to positioning of the hands as well as securing of the baseball and last but not least the actual transfer prior to the "throwing" of it! Repitition and MUSCLE MEMORY are fundamental as well gorund balls ground balls fungoe fungoes! 100 a day YES!!!!!! Most HSchoolers a couple of dozen or so with work ethic contrary to what they REALLYY want to achieve in baseball.....thoughts anyone???? :xyzthumbs :xyzthumbs :xyzthumbs
