Middle Creek Honors Ringenberg

    On Tuesday April 11, 2006 Middle Creek will play its first ever home game under lights. After the tragic loss of ex-player Grant "Sunshine" Ringenberg, the school, players and families came together and started the "Sunshine At The Creek" fund. All the money donated in honor of Grant would be used to help fund new lights on the baseball field. Tuesday at 7 pm Middle Creek will honor Grant before their game against rival Fuquay Varina. Grant brought happiness to so many people, our thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family.

    Tuesday April 11, 2006 at 7 pm Fuquay Varina (5-2) @ Middle Creek (6-1)

    A fitting tribute to a fine young man I had the privilege of spending a summer with on the diamond... I still think of him often.
