Hudson middle opens up thurs. with liberty and Granite falls plays colletsville. Caldwell co.schools should be pretty balanced this year each school has at least 1 stud pitcher. Wilkes co. could also be pretty good if the bulk of that carolina lightning team plays for the same school.

David Martin and Ethan Critcher - Parkway Middle School in Watauga

David is an outfielder with an exceptional glove and amazing power, all three brothers play for the highschool and start. He sees the ball as good as anyone and has a cannon from the outfield. Start to look for this guy in travel ball as a P, OF, or 3B. Hes not of the big size but his power will shock you. Left Handed pull hitter with great speed.

Ethan is a SS at heart with amazing all around talent. Though not the fastest his speed is exceptional and hes the most fundamentally sound player ive ever seen of his age. This kid doesnt even know what an error feels like. Also an amazing hitter. Though his power wont stand out he makes solid contact ever time. Dont be fooled though if you leave him one down the pipe he will smoke it out of the park. Pitching wise hes as good as they get. Last year in little league he could pinpoint his 65 mph fastball on the outside corner for a 90 percent strike ball ratio. He was the second pitcher behind a kid named Matt Proffitt who could crank it up to about 73 on a good day.

Watch out for these kids coming up, they are all 7th graders but will be extremely good if they continue to improve and work.

Hill's havin a big year so far. Having known Mikal personally, as well as played beside him in the same infield, he has all the tools to make it big. After all he has endured at the end of the day I'm honored to be friends with this outstanding player and person.
