Middle school news from 4/10 baseball games

In the game between Mount Pleasant and J.N.Fries, Mount Pleasant Wesley Hammill 3 hits included 2 home runs.Allen Lomax homered while getting 3 hits.Dylan Stubbs homered and had 2 hits and Blake Hooks homered for the tigers which are 1-1.Nick Colble winning pitcher.

Northwest Harris Road game action Aaron Trouutman hit 2 doubles and a triple with 7 RBI's.Garrett Welch and Landon Hubbard also had 3 hits and Jordan Goodman added 2 hits and 4 RBI's (3-0 in conference.Winning pitcher Welch and Jarrin Hogue combined to throw a four hitter.

 

Hudson at Granite Falls

Big crowd on hand to watch Hudson defeat Granite 10-9, neither team played well but a very exciting game none the less. Granite jumped on top 2-0 then Hudson stomed backed to go up 9-3. Granite ties the game in the bottom of the 6th. With the score tied at 9 and 2 down in top of 7th B. Bowman launched a bomb over the 360 mark in left center. Then in the bottom of the 7th Granite loads the bases with no outs, Hudson calls a pitchout on a suicide squeeze, 1 down. After a popup, a walk, and a strikeout game over 10-9 Hudson. Hudson remains undefeated Granite is tied with Gamewell at a game back. Hudson plays home to Gamewell on Thur and Granite is home against W. Alexander. Nice to see Spartan varsity and jv baseball teams at MS Deal today.
