Well almost another season in the books.Well as far the post,so much for that to happen.Cabarrus county will be starting the conference tournament only one day which will be this Saturday. The top 4 teams this year will play out for the championship.COngrats to Mount Pleasant C.C. griffin (conference champions once again going for another championship run.Mooresville and Northwest. Please correct if teams are not listed right for the top four.

As for my coaching career who knows?? Coached C.C.Griffin good team and lots of work between coaches.Head coach turned me around to become better.Sometimes wondering if i might stay or go.Coaching for me is a passion i love and have for the game.I always will keep one thing in mind which my old head coach said and try to stick by.

"Hard work becomes before success in the dictionary.

Conference games will be played at Concord Middle school in Concord,NC.

Thanks for a good season and hope to have post for next year.Even if u have them from this year or back please send stats on players and other good articles to be posted.

    Thanks, Coach Michael C.C.Griffin

Is that head coach C. Cline? Know some high school players that came through Griffin and they always are well disiciplined and hard workers.

    Coach at Griffin

Hey Knuckles, this year coach C.CLine stepped down but handles calling pitches and also helped during practice.Coach Clarence Shuler is the head coach and I myself am the first base coach. As far as disicipline goes we as a staff set high standards. We do not want or need any attitudes that are negative.I am trying to stay next year if things work out.I always work well with our kids and my job is mainly doing soft toss and hitting.I am also willing to help out kids comming up playing ball and hope to become better. We won today against Concord Middle 14-12.Had a strong lead and then gave up runs but still kept our players in the game and focused.Hope to hear from u and also anybody else.

    Thanks, Coach Michael

In Union County we finished our middle school season 3 weeks ago. The top four varsity (7th/8th graders) middle school teams were
    1. Marvin Ridge
    2. Piedmont
    3. Porter Ridge
    4. Weddington
The top JV (6th/7th graders)middles school teams were
    1. Porter Ridge
    2. Piedmont
    3. Sun Valley
    4. Weddington
Babe Ruth season is in full swing now. Just curious, what kind of baseball do Cabarrus County kids play once middle school ball is done. Is there a Babe Ruth league, etc.?

    after school baseball

Chubbs, usually after middle school baseball some of our players will go into travel ball and play through the summer and fall. Its usually like USSA baseball or somewhere like that.As far as me coaching,I like to go watch our players play and hope to help out with a team only if there is a place i can go.I stay involved with baseball alot even after school.

Thanks so much for the other post.
