    Becca has really turned it up a notch or three!! she has all the tools and its exciting to see her blossom after all her hard work!!

    PC....nice job gal!! she is also another quality pitcher from East Rutherford Area!

    With Gaston County Middle Schools, Volleyball starts after Softball...which is good, cause my daughter loves both.

    somewhat with tryouts.....tight scheduling but it's worked for years. bball from before Christmas till March Madness time, then spring tennis and track and field till May for the girls.

    you mean some middle sch's in NC actually have boys / girls tennis teams? wow. where we're at unfortunately most of the HS freshmen tennis players are experiencing their first exposure to tennis.

    coach to players: "now you hold the racket at this end..............."; not quite that bad but you get the picture.

    combo team here with girls and boys in the spring but competitive and valuable experience gained!

    i played tennis with my two DDs when they were strong enough to hold a JR. racket and MS Tennis was an added bonus. the tennis circuit in the summer really was best but the school systems supports all sports though.

    Nope, not in Gaston county...Volleyball is over right before christmas break and basketball doesn't start until after christmas break.

    in eastern NC the middle sch's play a few games before Christmas break. we play volleyball in the fall & softball in spring. also track & fd in spring, and girls soccer in spring.
    no tennis at all in MS.

    well.....

    editing this slightly in that in my area of Johnston Co. the middle sch's play a few games before Christmas break. we play volleyball in the fall & softball in spring. also track & fd in spring, and girls soccer in spring.
    no tennis at all in MS.

    I know in the Wilmington area, they play middle sch softball in the fall season.
