    Your girls are doing fantastic for only having 7th graders. Bodes well for the future!

    BTW CF, if our girls win tomorrow, which they should...but ya never know...but if they do, they'll win the Regular season.

    And if you didn't know it already, cause I'm not sure if you're still working with her...but TM hurt her elbow earlier and wasn't able to pitch much this year.

    Thanks NOGA and i hadnt heard the final result scenerio but thats great news for Belmont. The County Championships are definitely going to be exciting......Belmont, Mt Holly, Stanley and Chavis, Right! I plan to be at one of the games Tuesday :crossingfingerssmiley:

    Stilling working with her and sister and its apparent Your other pitcher there is quite the pitcher herself!!
    I am at SPHS, Sunday(12-2pm)......you and mama can get a short workout done during halftime of the Panther game.

    i have read your DD's name a few times over the course of the regular season and look forward to seeing her play again.

    Yep you are correct on the 4 in the playoffs...and really, any one of those could win it. Hopefully we can pull it out.

    Oh yeah, the picther that stepped in IS pretty dang good...and she's just a 7th grader.

    Every so often I'll let Taylor pitch to me...she actually throws pretty hard...just not accurate enough...she says she's going to start working on it more...we'll see.

    interesting

    the variations of the ways that sports are handled in the NC middle sch's across the state is very dynamic. in Johnston County we don't have any post-season tournament in any sport. just a regular season and no playoff even if it ends in a tie for 1st place at the end of regular season.

    I think

    after I retire in about 7 more yr's, maybe I'd like to coach MS softball, & get a teaching job part-time on the lateral-entry deal (have to teach in order to coach in our county).

    just as a fun thing to do and for someone that loves the sport, seems like MS would be a great level (only 2 yr's to contend w/ parents, no night or weekend games or practices, girls at that age haven't quite gotten engrossed with the boys (maybe some of them at least) , less drama than the HS level, etc., etc.

    yeah i know.....down east... MS and HS ball playing during the spring but workable for us ole westerners!
    more reason to get into Teaching/Coaching, EOR!! trust me..you will make a difference!!!!
