    Emily Riddle pitched the win in relief. Leading hitter were Kaci Williams who continues to swing a very hot bat with 2 hits and Amy Shelton who had a slump breaking, bases loaded triple.

    Jacobs Fork 5
    Good game to watch. Jacobs Fork led 5-1 going into the top of the 6th. A triple with bases loaded and a error doom them. Jacobs Fork left the tying run on 3rd base in the 7th. Katie Carpenter came on in relief for Mill Creek and pitched very well for the win. Both teams played great. Very good sportsmanship threwout.

    thanks for the results and congratulations.

    Questions: Mill Creek(Raleigh area?) and Jacobs Fork(?). not as easy as IDing HS teams.

    are you parenting one of these players, coaching and/or another great Fan of the game? just curious and noteably forgetful.

    Jacobs Fork kids going to Fred T Foard HS.
    I'm a parent of a Jacobs Fork player and a big fan of softball.

    thanks tarheels72.......watch alot of regional middle school ball(love the ones who "spring it" and the ones who "fall it") and was just in that area today. thanks for posting and do post their schedules if at all possible!

    its a great game and we're huge fans as well!
    hope to meet you at a game in the near future.

    West Middle won again defeating Ashe Middle. 15-0 victory. Erin Shepherd and Taylor Parker both pitched this game. Haley Cardwell bounced a ball off the top of centerfield fence for it to only come back in just missing a homerun by a couple inches. Erin Shepherd and Taylor Parker combined pitched a no hitter. Facing 12 batters and striking out 9.
